Our approach to perfume
Fragrance-free, but not scent-free. We do not use any added perfumes or essential oils. The scent you experience comes naturally from the plant-based ingredients in the formula and may therefore vary over time.
For us at fth, this is not just a formula choice, but part of a larger philosophy.
We believe in a gentle and thoughtful approach to hair care. An approach that considers the whole, the hair, the scalp, the skin, and their long-term health. For us, every ingredient must serve a function. If it does not contribute to the well-being of the hair or scalp, it has no place in the formula.
In many products, perfume is used to enhance the experience or to mask the contents. We have chosen a different path. We let the formula speak for itself.
Our priority has always been, and will always be, the formula. How it works, how it feels, and how it supports the hair over time. We develop our products to provide hydration, slip, softness, and balance. Not to create a temporary sensory experience.
By choosing to omit fragrance, we create space for something more honest. A formula that is mild, functional, and transparent. A formula that respects sensitive scalps, reduces the risk of irritation, and supports textured hair in the long term.
For us, hair care isn't about hiding anything. It's about understanding what hair actually needs and meeting those needs with care. Our products are gentle enough to be used from 3 years of age and were developed with sensitive scalps and the whole family's hair care routines in mind.
